The company philosophy is explicitly Franconian-regional. This means that Höfer Sekt uses 100 per cent high-quality grapes from the wine-growing region. This philosophy is implemented at a reliably high level and with a distinct joy in experimentation. The Höfer collection offers classic varietal sparkling wines and prestige cuvées made according to the champagne method. There are also animating sparkling wines, aromatic sparkling wines and a fresh, fruity non-alcoholic grape sparkling wine.
Since 1994, the owners of the sparkling wine cellar, Karin and Carsten Höfer, have been based on the listed brewery premises dating back to the 19th century. As owners of their premises and co-investors in the entire site, they are actively committed to preserving an ensemble that is unique in Würzburg.
