Info:
The Barth Winery and its wines, you and your trust in us, that simply belongs together.
At the Barth Winery, founded in 1725 in Lonsheim near Alzey (Rhineland-Palatinate), commitment to quality and service as well as attention to detail are paramount. The grapes for our excellent and award-winning white wines, red wines, rosé wines, sparkling wines and champagne specialities grow on the sun-kissed slopes of Rheinhessen, the largest wine-growing region in Germany.
One of our guiding principles is the idea of terroir: we grow each grape variety on the appropriate soil. That is why we cultivate vineyards in eleven municipalities. These include first-class sites in Alzey, Flonheim, Framersheim, Gau-Odernheim, Bermersheim vor der Höhe (the birthplace of Saint Hildegard) and Lonsheim. This makes us one of the top wineries in Rheinhessen.
Experience wonderful tradition and centuries-old craftsmanship, wine innovation and new ideas for viticulture with the Barth Weingut!
