The Steinmühle winery is located in Osthofen, in the southern Rheinhessen region of Wonnegau.
The CLIMATE
The climatic conditions in Osthofen are extremely favourable for viticulture, as Rheinhessen is one of the warmest and driest regions in Germany. Sheltered by the Hunsrück, Taunus, Odenwald and Nordpfälzer Bergland, our climate is characterised by low rainfall (500 mm of precipitation per year), warm sunshine (1,600 hours of sunshine per year) and mild winters.
