Our winery is located in the middle of the steep wine terraces of the Spitzer Graben. The vineyards cover an area of 6 hectares. The most important vineyards are Kalkofen, Liebenberg, Zornberg and Biern. Around 2/3 of the vineyards are located on steep terraces. These primary rock soils are particularly favourable for Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Neuburger and Gelber Muskateller.
In the vineyard, great importance is attached to sustainable cultivation, which means manual pruning, careful foliage work, strict reduction of the grapes and selective hand-picking. In the cellar, after temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wines are given plenty of time on the fine lees to emphasise the subtleties of each grape variety and site.
