Since 2005, the brothers Rudolf and Paul Christian have continued the family winery PAUL ANHEUSER in the tradition of over 375 years. The winery covers 30 ha. The vineyards are located in the best sites of the Nahe in the communities of Bad Kreuznach, Niederhausen and Schloßböckelheim. Following in the footsteps of great-grandfather Rudolf, the younger generation also focuses on the queen of grape varieties, the Riesling. It captivates with its young, fresh style and pure varietal character. The individual, gentle vinification and the temperature-controlled fermentation ensure fine fruit aromas and a good digestibility. In addition to the Riesling, the traditional Burgundy varieties are also characterised by their fine style and fullness.
For the red wines, the brothers rely on cool and gentle mash fermentation. The focus is on the Pinot Noir, which impresses with its diversity and refinement.
