We, Michaela & Jochen Meintzinger, are the 8th generation of the Meintzinger family to run the winery, which originated in 1475 as the summer residence of the Prince Bishop of Würzburg.
Since 1790, the winery has grown steadily and, in addition to traditional grape varieties such as Pinot Blanc and Riesling, classic Silvaner and Müller-Thurgau wines as well as fantastic red wines such as Pinot Noir, Domina and Portugieser mature in our vineyards, Frickenhäuser Fischer and Frickenhäuser Kapellenberg.
