Our wines are meant to tell stories - of joy of life, enjoyment, and Palatinate sociability, while also clearly showing their origin. Especially with the Rieslings, we are pleased about the distinct differences of the individual vineyard locations. Our soils have an extraordinary mix of sandstone, basalt, shell limestone, loess, and clay. Here in Forst on the Wine Route, the terroir of each vineyard is very diverse in a small area - which offers great opportunities and the perfect basis for good wine with charisma: We want to make the different terroir of the individual locations perceivable in the wine. Our wines are as unique as our soils, which help determine the style in which we make wine at Margarethenhof. Because: Riesling is not just Riesling; and even though each vintage is individual and different - the characteristic features of the individual locations can always be recognized in our wines. With the 2024 vintage, our wines are now also finally certified organic.
