We live and work in Freinsheim on the northern Mittelhaardt – where the Palatinate is particularly sunny, the landscape particularly charming, and the wine particularly full of character. From our parents' mixed agricultural operation, an independent winery has emerged with today 25 hectares of self-managed vineyards. 25 hectares and no hocus pocus: Our goal is wines that taste good and reflect their origin – honest, lively, and with aging potential. Wines that tell stories: about the soil, the vintage, and the people who passionately accompany them. Since 2018, we have been certified organic – out of conviction and responsibility. Because good wine grows best where a balanced ecosystem, healthy soils, and conscious management come together. The foundation for the expressiveness of our wines is formed by the diverse soils in our locations: sand, gravel, loess, clay, and limestone – perfect conditions for our flagship varieties Riesling and Spätburgunder, complemented by selected international red wine varieties. We are Palatinate people – curious, open, and with a joy for discovery. And that is how we want our wines to be understood.
