The kingfisher has landed since 2017. It not only adorns the winery's logo, but also symbolises our family's closeness to nature. With a bit of luck, you may also come across it along the wild stream. The stream has also found its way into the winery and its ripples indicate whether you are at the fresh start of the estate wines or in the middle of the complex single vineyards.
The passion is above all for expressive Pinot varieties and fresh, chalky Rieslings.
His father Rüdiger, together with his wife Agathe, was instrumental in establishing and expanding the winery. Today, Stephan is following in his footsteps and stands for quality and the future of the winery.
This is who we are. Wine craftsmen with the greatest passion for our 25 hectares of vineyards, which stretch like a string of pearls along the Eisbach, from the high St. Stephan down to the winery on the Eisbach.
For us, wine is a handmade, expressive product that changes every year. Each vine, each variety and each of its sites has its own will and impressive facets that need to be worked out. Many years of experience help us to do this.
