in 2009, straight after my studies, I, Fabian Schmidt, was given the opportunity to set up my own business in the historic 13th century winery, right next to the Church of St Peter and St Paul.
The wines were immediately popular with wine connoisseurs and restaurateurs. In the meantime, our business has grown from 3.5 hectares to over 12 hectares and we have been a certified Demeter business since 2023.
Our focus is on a gentle approach to nature and spontaneously fermented and unadorned high-quality wines.
