Schambachhof has been a member of the organic farming association for more than 40 years. The decades of experience in organic farming go back to Matthias Höfflin's parents. As pioneers in the Kaiserstuhl region, Ruth and Adolf Höfflin were already working according to Bioland guidelines in 1974. When Matthias Höfflin founded the winery in 1987 at the age of 20, the organic concept was already in his cradle and firmly anchored in the winery's philosophy. Today, he produces natural wines in his wine workshop, taking the search for original wine flavours one step further.
