Info:
Our winery focuses on the Riesling & Pinot Noir varieties. The different facets of the grape varieties Riesling, which grow on our limestone and coloured sandstone soils, are the central theme of our range. Our vineyards extend from the heights of Leistadt, which lie to the north of Bad Dürkheim, along the German Wine Route to Deidesheim & Ruppertsberg. The different vineyards and their microclimates offer us an exciting and unique opportunity to showcase two different Riesling worlds within the Palatinate. The local wines from the Kalkriff, which are located in and around the Berntal nature reserve, form the centrepiece. The second focus in the white wine range, as an alternative to Riesling, is Pinot Blanc. Three years ago, we deliberately decided to focus more on this regional speciality. The development of Pinot Noir, which has now become a mainstay of the winery and has opened many doors and gates for us, is somewhat longer. The Pinot Noirs grown primarily on limestone are characterised by their cool finesse and excellent ageing potential. In addition to regional specialities, international classics such as Sauvignon Blanc or red cuvées are playing an increasingly important role.
