THE LISTED GRAND CRU SITE: THE PRINCELY HOMBURGER KALLMUTH
For almost 2000 years, the craft of viticulture has been nurtured and cultivated on the striking Hombuger steep slope, more than 400 years of which have been in our family ownership and under our name. The Kallmuth is our most precious asset. A monument of superlatives that stands at the origin of each of our eponymous wines. Shone on by the sun for thousands of years until nightfall, a sub-Mediterranean summer climate prevails at the "Uluru of Franconia", characterised by twelve kilometres of natural stone walls and steep steps. Warmth that lingers on the palate for a long time.
