Although Bubenheim and Appenheim are only a few kilometres apart, the nature of the soil and the resulting wines could not be more different. Appenheim has the most calcareous soils in Germany. The wines produced here are easy to digest and very mineral with a fruity acidity. The Franz brand clearly focuses on Riesling, Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay.

Bubenheim, on the other hand, has predominantly loess-loam soils. Here, vineyards such as the "Bubenheimer Kallenberg" or "Bubenheimer Honigberg" produce full-bodied, rich wines with fruity notes
and full-bodied wines with fruity notes. The minerality complements the whole perfectly - not too much and not too little. Just the right amount! The Finkenauer brand focuses on Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay.
We work in nature, with nature. We have not used herbicides in our vineyards for a long time now and have focussed on a sensible cover crop in the vineyard. This is not only good for the wines, but also for nature. Because with sustainable, organic viticulture, we support and protect
Flora and fauna of the vineyards. We do this with pleasure and conviction. Another milestone for our homeland.
