We passionately pursue a completely natural approach to the cultivation of our vines and the subsequent processing of the grapes. As a Demeter winery, we completely avoid synthetic chemical pesticides and fertilisers. Instead, we rely on composted humus to revitalise the soil. A species-diverse cover crop between the vines creates habitat for insects and increases the biological activity of the soil.
The roots of the plants naturally regulate the water balance of the vineyard, protect against erosion and keep important nutrients in the soil. The soil is therefore healthier and allows the vines to become more resistant and alive. The grapes from these vines make the terroir strongly palpable in the wine and thus produce complex, multi-layered wines.
