Where it gets difficult, it is often the most beautiful: The best Saar wine thrives on the steepest slopes. There, where only a few machines help with the work. Where every step means work. But where every ray of sunshine also warms grapes and slate rock until late in the evening.

Stephan and Anna Reimann are committed to preserving this ancient wine culture with the Cantzheim vineyard. However, the steep slope does not only mean manual labour, effort and slow progress. It also means: depth. Finesse. Elegance. Worldwide unique wines from unique sites - that is what drives Anna and Stephan Reimann.

Cellar master Anna personally accompanies each wine from the vine to the bottle. "We rely exclusively on natural fermentation with yeasts from our own vineyard. The wines are matured in both stainless steel and oak barrels," explains the trained oenologist. Cantzheim presses Riesling in all its facets, dry Pinot Blanc and high-quality, bottle-fermented Crémants.
