We attach great importance to ecologically sensible soil and vine treatment and to quality-oriented, near-natural cultivation. Our vines grow and thrive on the hillsides of the Steigerwald, on gypsum-keuper soils in a sunny microclimate. Through gentle pressing, at low temperatures, we obtain the must. With a long fermentation and storage on the fine yeast, we promote the pleasant and balanced bouquet. We grow more than a dozen different grape varieties between the rivers Main and Steigerwald, including Franconian red wines. Our range is complemented by classic vintner's sparkling wines of refined racy elegance and the finest distillates made from wine yeast, marc, Franconian fruit and liqueurs. Supported by the gentlest and most modern cellar technology, the promotion of quality is our highest priority.
