The Bäuerl family from Oberloiben/Dürnstein is the 4th generation to run a small, fine winery in the heart of the Wachau. Half of the grapes come from the terraced sites such as Kellerberg, Höhereck or Liebenberg and Kreutles or Hochstrasser from the foot of the Loibenberg. The hand harvest takes place in small crates and are then processed differently.
