Château Ballan-Larquette and Domaine de Ricaud have been in the family business for several generations. In 2009, several high quality wines were acquired in Entre-deux-Mers, including some that were previously used to produce the Encore Soif vintage. Today, the Weingut contains a total of 27 hectares of wine, which are grown in the best possible terroirs, and 7 hectares of the white grapes are grown here.
The estate is located in the heart of the Entre Deux Mers region, between the Garonne and Dordogne rivers in the Gironde department. We are located 45 km south of Bordeaux, 30 km south of St Emilion and 20 km north of Sauternes.
