Erste+Neue, an important piece of South Tyrolean wine history in Kaltern for more than a century, was created in 1986 from the merger of the Erste Kellerei (founded in 1900) with the Neue Kellerei (founded in 1925).
In 2016, the forward-looking integration into the Kaltern Winery took place, although the Erste+Neue brand will continue to exist due to its reputation and tradition in the wine world.
Viticulture has a history in South Tyrol that goes back thousands of years. It is a matter close to our hearts to preserve and carry on this evolved culture and tradition. Our ambitions have always been and still are characterised by a strong pioneering spirit, which is expressed, among other things, in the modern design of our labels.
