Wineguide:
Enzo Boglietti società agricola semplice
Info:
Azienda Agricola Enzo Boglietti is a family-run winery that produces around 100,000 bottles a year with grapes exclusively from 22 ha of its own vineyards.
The winery is located in La Morra, while the vineyards are scattered among the municipalities of La Morra, Barolo, Monforte, Serralunga d'Alba, Roddino and Sinio.
Enzo Boglietti, together with his daughter Linda and son Matteo, is dedicated to the production of high quality wines.
The essence of terroir:
Soil plays a fundamental role in viticulture, its chemical elements and origin have an enormous influence on the sensory characteristics of wine and are the basis of zonation: the study of the viticultural environment.
Zoning is the evaluation of vineyards, which must be done every time a vineyard is established, in order to make the most of its potential.
As far as the Boglietti winery is concerned, this involves the exploration of five vineyards: Brunate, Case Nere, Fossati, Boiolo in the commune of La Morra and Arione in the commune of Serralunga. Boglietti already produces from these crus, so the aim of our zoning is to gather as much detail as possible to better understand the wines from these vineyards.
This work will help understand why some of the aromatic and taste characteristics of these Barolo vineyards are the result of the soil in which they are grown and how the soil itself is the protagonist.
When we speak of Barolo we are referring to one of the most famous wine regions in the world and to a wine that excites, but above all reminds us of its land of origin.
These are wines with peculiarities that only belong to the Barolo area, they recall the soil and climate of their mother land because they are the land itself.
Barolo wines create an authentic wonder that encapsulates their origin and makes these wines unique.
The emotions born from Barolo grow between present and past memories, history and tradition to delight the senses as only Terroir wines know how to do. Terroir is an untrans...
