Wine tradition from Georgia
The Chelti winery owes its name to the river on whose banks its vineyards lie. The Chelti flows through the Alasani Valley in Kakheti, one of the warmest regions in the country and the cradle of Georgian wine culture. Founded in 2001, our family business offers high-quality wines from indigenous grape varieties such as Saperavi, Rkatsiteli, Mtsvane and Kisi, which are cultivated in the Kvareli, Kindzmarauli and Mukuzani appellations and harvested by hand.
During production, we pay attention to the best ingredients and combine age-old practices with the latest technology. The wines are matured in stainless steel tanks, oak barrels or in the traditional Qvevri amphora stored underground. All our products are vegan and free of additives.
Our high quality standards and meticulous attention to detail are reflected in the numerous awards won by Chelti wines at leading international competitions such as ProWein, MUNDUS VINI, Decanter World Wine Awards, Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair and "Sakura" Japan Women's Wine Awards.
We are particularly pleased that the "Saperavi of Qvevri" from the house of Chelti was served at the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at Windsor Castle in May 2018
