Champagne Laurent Lequart
Info:
The land of Pinot-Meunier
Champagne Laurent Lequart is a family-run business located in Passy-Grigny, in the heart of the Marne Valley.
The estate has been working its vines with passion for several generations (the 4th), respecting the terroir and the environment, and has received 2 HVE (High Environmental Value) and VDC (Viticulture Durable en Champagne) certifications.
Harvesting on an estate of just over 11 hectares, the vast majority of production (80%) is concentrated on the Valley's emblematic grape variety: Le Meunier.
80,000 bottles are produced and sold, 60% of which are exported to 30 countries.
Maison Lequart pays great attention to the production of its Champagnes, in particular by extending the ageing period in the cellar, but also by minimising the dosage, to allow the winemaker's work to express itself fully.
Laurent makes various 100% Meunier cuvées, as well as more unusual champagnes, such as a pure Chardonnay or a pure Pinot Noir, exclusively from his own terroir.
