Celler Cairats

After more than ten years of searching in different controlled wine-growing areas (Denominations of Origin), in 2010 we settled in the DO Montsant, where we found: old vines of native varieties, a landscape, a climate and a type of soil that has been associated with quality wines for a thousand years. In addition, we also find a beautiful vineyard dating back to 1900. We started this project with the aim of carrying out a careful production of quality wines. We emphasise that quality comes before quantity. To this end, we face the restoration of old vines, incorporating viticultural practices that seek the balance of the plant and respect for the environment (all our vineyards are certified as EU organic). We integrate the most advanced technologies in the cellar to make wines that express the personality of the territory and the native varieties. After a break of a generation, our family returns to cultivate the land to obtain authentic wines,.... Wines with soul.
