We have a taste for wine! As a small family winery, we make special wines that have history and write their own story.
Our old vines and the good location in the Remstal wine region ensure that the wines have a unique, mature taste.
We, that is Rudi, Karl and Hans, three brothers who have known and loved viticulture since childhood. The vineyards in Winnenden connect us. There we work, talk and laugh, switch off and enjoy nature.
The winegrowing tradition runs in our family: more than 60 years ago, the vines were planted by our parents on the Haselstein in Winnenden. We now continue the tradition with these "old vines" and this is something special in our region. For us and our vines, there is no better place than the Haselstein in our home, the Rems-Murr district.
The basis for our wines and brandies are the vineyards on the Winnender Haselstein in the Württemberg wine region of Remstal. Varieties such as Riesling, Schwarzriesling, Silvaner, Trollinger and Burgundy grow between the local orchards and the Haselstein forest.
The vines are over 60 years old, which is why they are called "old vines" here. Over the years, these vines have matured and grown old. With our experience and a lot of manual work, we create a sweet yield where quantity is not the main concern.
Deep roots, less yield and smaller berries are what make these old vines special? This makes us go deeper and pay attention to the naturalness and quality of the wine.
In this way, the ingredients such as minerals and trace elements are distributed over fewer grapes, which shows in the distinct taste.
