The management of the Bishop's Wineries Trier, or simply Bishop's Wineries Trier, belongs to the historically significant wineries of Germany. The wineries emerged in 1966 from a merger of the previously independent wineries of the three partners. The partners are the Bishop's Convict Trier, the Bishop's Seminary Trier, and the High Cathedral Trier. All three partners are corporations under public law.
The Bishop's Wineries Trier are operated as an independent, private enterprise in the form of a civil law partnership (GbR). Estate Director Dr. Karsten Weyand represents the winery in a managerial capacity. The supervisory board consists of the heads of all three corporations. Additional members are appointed by the Bishop of Trier. The chairman of the supervisory board is the Bishop's General Vicar of the Diocese of Trier.
Since 2003, the Bishop's Wineries Trier have also been managing the vineyard property of the former foundation winery Friedrich-Wilhelm-Gymnasium, which was purchased that year by the Bishop's Seminary Trier.
