Anne de Joyeuse was founded in 1929 by a group of winemakers who decided to dedicate this cellar first to the production of red wines. Our name was inspired by the history of the Aude, in particular by the Duc de Joyeuse, who was born in 1560 in the Château des Ducs de Joyeuse near Couiza.

We have always opted for production and distribution methods based on human values. We believe in personal contact and offer tailored advice, whether in the vineyard or in the points of sale, while ensuring fair remuneration for producers and high added value for consumers.

It is now more than 25 years since Anne de Joyeuse first decided to focus on the environment, a move reinforced in 2007 by the creation of Protect Planet, our sustainable development charter used by all our cooperative producers to help them implement sustainable viticulture techniques.
Protect Planet is a winemaking philosophy that guides us in our daily activities and manifests itself in a team of experienced technicians dedicated to the winemakers, recognised environmental certifications (organic, HEV) and the implementation of sustainable production methods.

Specialising in still wines from the Limoux region, we have developed a wide range of bottles that showcase the diversity and excellence of our terroirs. In our state-of-the-art cellar, we are genuinely passionate about making wines that reflect our love of terroir and our desire to offer our customers the best possible value for money.
