The 24-hectare vineyard of the Wallachian princely family Stirbey, today owned by Ileana Kripp-Costinescu, the granddaughter of Princess Maria Stirbey, produces around 100,000 bottles of high-quality wines annually from predominantly local Romanian grape varieties, which are bottled as single-varietals after close-to-nature cultivation in the vineyards and the gentlest possible vinification in order to show the character of each individual grape variety
