Our winery is located in Gamlitz, in southern Styria. Here, in the lee of the Alps, the Illyrian climate determines the weather. Contrasting weather conditions with Mediterranean sunshine hours, large temperature fluctuations and abundant rain. At first glance not promising, we are aware of the unique advantages. And create naturally good wine with calm and serenity.
Our team consists of a colourful bunch of committed people with different backgrounds, who share a lunch table, know that togetherness is a decisive strength, are connected to the craft, with the common goal of creating hearty Styrian wines. Every variety has its desire and every weather its mood. We accompany our grapes to their destination and gently give them the best possible space to develop: the Klassik as a light and well-accentuated line from southern Styria, the Reverenz makes the potential varietal typicity of a vintage tangible, and in our Grubthal site, deep wines thrive in single vineyard.
