Our traditional Franconian family winery is located in beautiful Eibelstadt. Nestled in the Franconian countryside and idyllically situated on the Main River. The world heritage city of Würzburg with its many sights is only 10 km away.
in 1986, our parents and parents-in-law marketed their first wines. In 2011, we, Jürgen and Sandra Breunig, took over the winery. Both of us grew up as winegrowers' children, and the family business, like everything else to do with wine, is close to our hearts.
We have positioned ourselves broadly and always want to approach the subject of wine in a new way: in addition to a cosy, traditional hedge tavern and a modern vinotheque with an outdoor wine bar, we sell our wines in an online shop.
We now cultivate around 12 ha of vineyards with different grape varieties. We market 8 hectares of these ourselves, while the other 4 hectares are cultivated for winegrowers who are friends of ours. The most modern cultivation and processing methods meet traditional procedures and a great deal of know-how.
Since July 2020, guests can stay directly on the winery in newly built, pretty holiday flats. And as a trained "Wine Experience Franconia" tour guide, I would like to introduce you to our landscape and an important part of our culture - the wine - on adventure hikes.
