Our wine bar is named after St Kilian, patron saint of the former Arheilg church, who can also be found in the town's coat of arms.
The wine bar was established in 2018 in the rooms of a former pharmacy, continuing the tradition of inns that were located in this building until the middle of the 20th century. ("Zur Eisenbahn", "de Götze-Steg", "Tante Amalie")
Good quality, fair prices and friendly service - that's what we stand for. The wines come mainly from Germany, especially from Rheinhessen, the Palatinate and the Bergstrasse, from Italy (Sicily, Apulia, Veneto, Tuscany, Campania) and Austria (Kamptal, Carnutum, Burgenland, West Styria). We import numerous wines ourselves. They can also be purchased over the counter and in our online shop.
You can sit comfortably alone or with friends in our dining room or outside in the covered wine courtyard. A total of around 60 seats are available. Outside normal opening hours, our annual programme includes wine tastings, tastings, aperitifs, readings, trips in the vintage bus and much more.
The wine bar is also the perfect venue for private celebrations.
