The "zum Ochsen" wine tavern in Malans is more of a wine bistro than a restaurant and belongs to the Donatsch estate. Built in 1926, the Bündner Stube with its blue tiled stove invites you to linger. The sunny balcony with a view over the rooftops of Malans and the surrounding mountains is the perfect place to relax.
At the Ochsen, you can enjoy various Donatsch wines by the glass or order a tasting board with various current wines from our own vineyard. In addition to the top wines from the Bündner Herrschaft region, wine connoisseurs will also find beautifully matured Burgundy, various wines from the Bordelais or from friendly winegrowers from Switzerland, Austria or Germany in the walk-in vinotheque.

The menu is small but delicious. Hearty regional dishes are served with wine. The classic is the hearty barley soup or the Bündner platter with air-dried meat specialities and spicy cheese.
