About us
We at the country inn "Amtskeller" in Kämpfelbach-Ersingen have adapted our second mainstay - the Amtskeller Slow Travel wine and culture tours - to the diametrically changing demands of the travel market! Our culture and pleasure tours with a cheerful study character are very exclusive, because we travel in small groups of 4 to max. 7 participants!

I consider France and Italy to be the great creators of culture par excellence, be it the arts per se or culinary achievements. Even as a child, I experienced and appreciated Italy and penetrated further and further into the beloved Italian way of life, later pairing it with the French.
As a trained geographer and architect, I like nothing better than to take my travel guests to where the wines and many ingredients for our Amtskeller cuisine also come from; than to introduce you to the network of wonderful people - winemakers, restaurateurs, producers - on the ground. To immerse yourself in their fairly intact world, even though they too have to deal with socio-economic constraints, especially now in and after the crisis! it is great fun to "resonate" with the region you are visiting - even more so in the local language!
Consequently, in addition to the topics of food, wine, art and regional studies, there is always a concentrated load of historical background information on the trips. The latter culminates in the city tours through the "capital of the world" - the divine Roma - after which you, dear wine and culture lovers, will understand the Occident, or more precisely, our world today, a little better.
