For over 350 years and 13 generations, the PETERSHOF has been family-owned. Since 2010, we, Stefan and Johanna Kuhn, have been determining the fate of the PETERSHOF. Since then we have invested a lot: Time, heart and soul, and also money, to adapt the time-honoured winery to the realities of the new age. New stainless steel tanks, barriques, large wooden barrels and cooling units are direct, monetary investments in even higher wine quality. In addition, time-intensive measures such as consistent, quality-enhancing pruning, the "chopping out" of old vines that are declining in quality and the planting of young fields by our excellent team in the vineyard and cellar. And you can see that in our wines! We consciously focus on the highest quality at affordable prices. Our goal is to create top wines "for every day". This starts with the selection of the grape varieties, continues with meticulous care of the vineyards and ends with the cellar work until the wines are in the bottle. Without our great staff, it would all be nothing. Our team is our most important asset. Even though we cannot be an organic winery due to the small areas in our district, we do pay attention to our environment. According to the motto "only as much as absolutely necessary, but as little as possible" we try to keep the use of auxiliary materials as low as possible. We are a family winery and work with a small team. This means that you will always receive personal attention, whether on site or by telephone/email. And you always know who you are talking to! In most cases, you even know us personally and we will keep you in our lasting memory. Our highest goal is that you feel comfortable with us. Whether as a participant in a wine tasting, an overnight stay in our guest rooms or as a camper in the courtyard among oleanders and olives. Just give us a try!
