The Kranz Winery produces its wines in the best locations around the Ilbesheim Kalmit. An area that is considered a classic square mile of geology due to its rock diversity. Boris Kranz cultivates his vineyards ecologically and has consistently worked his way to the top of the Palatinate wine producers with diligence, a great deal of craftsmanship and a good deal of idealism. Since 2012, the winery has been a member of the VDP ( Verband Deutscher Prädikatsweingüter) His filigree, purist Rieslings, juicy Pinot Blancs and taut, mineral Pinot Noirs are among the best in the Southern Palatinate.
