We are the two brothers Stephan and Georg Schwedhelm. In 2006, we took over the family winery and jointly cultivate nearly 22 hectares. Our vineyards are all located in the Zellertal within a radius of 1.5 kilometers around the winery. Our vines are situated in the valley at an altitude of 150 meters up to nearly 300 meters at the highest point of the Zellertal, where our winery is also located. In recent years, we have invested a lot in viticulture and cellar technology to improve the quality of our wines. Above all, our new cellar building, which is partly driven into the mountain. This is intended to give our wines more opportunities to mature over several years and thus develop their full potential. The goal of our wine style is to clearly highlight the Zellertal with its barren, mineral soils in our wines, in order to achieve a distinctive style that remains consistent over decades.
