Paolo e Noemia D’Amico
Info:
A strong passion for wine motivated Paolo and Noemia D’Amico to establish a winery on volcanic soil in a spectacular landscape at the border between Lazio and Umbria in 1985, with the aim of producing high-quality wines.
The winery is located near Orvieto, Lake Bolsena, and Civita di Bagnoregio in the heart of Tuscia, an ancient, beautiful Etruscan area called "Valle dei Calanchi," which is protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
After four decades, the wine portfolio includes ten internationally awarded wines.
The wines mature to the sounds of classical music in the tuff stone cellar, designed and created by Noemia D’Amico and the world-renowned architect Luca Brasini. The cellar extends beneath the hanging garden to the library, adjacent to a room where the wines of Paolo and Noemia D’Amico are tasted.
For years, the wine has been produced according to organic criteria, and starting with the next harvest, the winery Paolo e Noemia D'Amico will be organically certified.
