With over 20 years of experience, the German Wine and Sommelier School (DWS) is the competence centre for further education in wine throughout Germany. 600 wine and pleasure experts are trained each year, who prove their professional competence with the IHK certificate examination or the public law examination to become a sommelier IHK. Since 2012, DWS has integrated course concepts and examinations of the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET®) into the courses. For those who want to go the extra mile, DWS offers the certified master sommelier IHK as well as the WSET® Level 4 NEW Diploma as a wine expert high-end for advanced learners.
