Weingut Nik Weis - Sankt-Urbans-Hof

The Riesling winery Nik Weis - St. Urbans-Hof in Leiwen on the Moselle is run by Nik Weis and his family in the third generation. The winery has been a member of the renowned Verband Deutscher Prädikatsweingüter (VDP) since 2000. Around 40 hectares of vineyards stretch for around 60 kilometres along the Moselle and Saar rivers, making the words "origin" and "terroir" particularly important. Of the prestigious single vineyard sites where world-class Rieslings are grown, six are classified as VDP.Grosse Lage. All wines are fermented exclusively with natural yeasts. In addition to the winery, Nik Weis runs a family-run vine nursery, where he fulfils the overriding task of preserving and cultivating the old Riesling genetics of the Moselle, Saar and Ruwer.

Customers, interested parties and wine lovers can visit the winery Monday to Friday from 8am to 12pm and from 1pm to 5pm or on Saturdays by appointment.
