As one of the oldest wineries in the world, Weingut Burg Ravensburg continues its great tradition with constant innovation. Since 1251, the outstanding sites in the centre of Kraichgau and the mineral-rich soils have produced great wines - unique conditions. Today, certified organic work and biodynamic teachings complement the traditional craftsmanship and centuries-old knowledge of the historic individual vineyards. The 220-million-year-old gypsum keuper is decisive for their soils. Deeply rooted there are Riesling, Blaufränkisch and Pinot varieties, which produce distinctive character wines. HUSARENKAPPE, KAPELLENBERG, LÖCHLE and DICKER FRANZ - illustrious names for our top-class vineyards and classified as VDP.Große Lage.
