In the idyllic Main valley, we have been painstakingly cultivating vineyards on the steep, listed terraced steep slopes in Klingenberg by hand for 50 years. We have been a certified Bioland farm since 1990. The sandstone terraces, together with the easily heated sandy soils, form the most important basis for the quality of our wines. The vineyard walls store the warmth of the sun and thus create a special microclimate, which not only the classic grape varieties such as Portugieser, Pinot Noir and Riesling like particularly well. In addition to lizards, rare ferns also feel very much at home in the numerous dry stone walls....
However, these plants require a lot of physical effort from us as winegrowers. But it is precisely this commitment of physical labour and working time that creates a particularly intimate relationship between vineyard and winemaker. This is how we create in harmony with nature the basis for high-quality, wholesome organic wines. We look forward to presenting these wines to you during a visit to our wine presentation....
