In a charming hilly location at the foot of the Mendel Mountains and surrounded by old trees stands the Gothic castle with its idyllic chapel and extensive estate.

Englar Castle, which has been in the possession of the Counts Khuen - Belasi for almost 400 years, is considered the best-preserved Gothic castle in South Tyrol.
Several harmoniously interwoven structures with the typical steep Gothic roofs together with the adjacent farm buildings enclose a shady castle courtyard and form an ensemble of suggestive effect
